Reflections is a National PTA arts recognition program that helps students explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence, and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful not only in school, but in life!

Encourage your child to submit original work of art in response to a theme following categories : 

Dance Choreography[PDF]  - choreographed dance composition. 

Literature[PDF] - stories, poems, essays, fiction, non fiction, drama.

Film Production[PDF] - animation, narrative, documentary, experimental, multimedia

Music composition[PDF] - musical composition.

Photography[PDF] - single photo, panoramic, photomontage, multiple exposure, negative sandwich or photogram.

Visual Art[PDF] - drawing, painting, collage, computer generated art, ceramics, jewelry, architecture(2D/3D).

Special Artist Division[PDF] -students whose physical, cognitive, or mental health challenges meet the American with Disabilities Act guidelines.

How to Participate

You can enter  1 or more categories.  If you want to paint a picture, go for it! If you want to compose a piece of music AND take a photo - the sky is the only  limit!

Make sure your art piece follow the category rules below.

2. Reflect on the theme and create your art!

How will you express the theme in your art? Consider how your art connects to the theme.

Be sure it meets all guidelines on size, format, length and other relevant category rules before submitting.

3. Fill out Wilburton Entry form. Send three files(Artwork/Entry form/Artist Statement only) to  

before Nov 28th

The Entry Form must be signed by both the student and a caregiver. Artists statement must be in the student's own words even if it is imperfect! (in 100 words or less)

Work independently! 

Please let your student work completely on their own. This is your student's chance to shine! Let them wow you without your help.  

All entries will be displayed online so everyone can see our wonderful Wilburton Wolves' creativity!
