Wilburton Elementary PTA invites our community to join us for Family Movie Nights. Every month throughout the school year we’ll be hosting Movie Nights at school’s cafeteria.

The upcoming Movie Night is coming on Friday, March 29th at 6:00pm, doors open at 5:30pm. Join us for this FREE PTA Event! The entire family is welcome to come and meet other families and watch the movie together. The movie Title and more details are coming in PTA weekly e-blast.

We’re watching a recent release about Mary Poppins returns during Michael’s most desperate hour to lend him a helping hand. With his house in danger of being repossessed, she whips up a little magic to remind him of the importance of family.

Please read more details below and learn about school’s policies and our expectations. 

Rules and expectations

Doors will open at 5:30pm, come early and grab a spot prior to the movie starting at 6:00pm. Students are encouraged to bring pillows, blankets or sleeping bags to sit on the floor. Please don’t bring chairs.

If you’d like to bring snacks and beverages, in respect to Wilburton Elementary policy, we ask that all outside food is both Peanut and Tree Nut Free to help keep this safe for all participants. Please avoid sticky food and beverages that contain sugar to keep our beautiful school clean and mess free. Popcorn, crackers and water are the best choices.

Important note: this is not a drop off event, and parents or guardians must stay with their students.

Coffee and Chat!

Join us at school from 7:40am till 8:40am for a cup of coffee.

Join us every first Friday from 7:40am till 8:40am to learn more about news and updates, we’re having activities every month. 

This Friday we’d like to focus on clubs and after school activities for the next year! We have some great ideas but we would like to hear from you, please come and share what is important for your family.

And as usual we’re here to listen to your questions, concerns and ideas. Every Child, One Voice!

Rehearsal for Variety Show

The very first Wilburton Elementary Variety Show is coming this Friday!

All the students did perform very well at the Audition, and we’d like to invite all talents to the Rehearsal, which is scheduled on Wednesday, March 6th at 5:00pm.
For the Rehearsal please be dressed. 
We still need volunteers to help with curtains and students on the backstage. If you, your friend or family member could help, that would be great. 
We’re looking forward seeing all of you!

Variety Show

Share your talent and passion with your friends!

Event Info

Wilburton Elementary PTA is hosting a Variety Show and inviting Wilburton Wolves in Grades K-5 to participate and share your talent and passion for Wilburton Families.

Performer can choose ONE from the following categories:

  • Martial Art
  • Drawing and Painting
  • Magic Art
  • Choreography
  • Comedy
  • Music and Singing
  • Poetry and Reading
  • Open Category (Yo-Yo, Jumping Rope, Hula Hoop, etc.)

This is not a competition and your performance won’t be judged.

Performance should be Safe and Family-Friendly (no performances that include fire or in which the performers risk injury), performance should not violate Wilburton Elementary School and Bellevue School District policies, including content and dress code.

Each performance is limited to 1 minute.

Performers should provide their own props.

TapRoot Theatre: Super School

 TapRoot presents “Super School”. It’s a fun way to learn about 3R’s.

Wilburton Wolves are Super Kids! On Monday, March 11th at 8:30am we have a very special morning assembly at school! TapRoot Theatre presents “SUPER SCHOOL”. It’s a fun way to learn about 3 “R’s”!

Families are welcome to join the assembly.

Your favorite heroes from Camp Super Friend are back for a new adventure! It’s Marvel’s first day at Asteroid Academy and Jet introduces him to Danrelle, a girl with invisibility power, and Tilly, a girl with super-strength and a temper to match. When Danrelle uses her power to steal Tilly’s rocket ball and bully her into losing her temper, Tilly’s reaction puts her in danger of being suspended. Can Tilly learn to manage her emotions in time? Will the students of Asteroid Academy learn the power of the three R’s: Recognizing, Reporting and Refusing Bullying Behavior before their actions cause superhero-sized trouble?

No past experience required, all parents and guardians are welcome to come and learn more about how library works and what help would be much appreciated. Wilburton Elementary PTA and school have been chosen by Camp Kindness Counts to introduce a brand new project: Kind World Project. Please join the Workshop by Camp Kindness Counts on March 25th at 6:00pm. Dinner will be provided.
