What is pta?
PTA stands for the Parent and Teacher Association and is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) and an all-volunteer group that supports all Wilburton students by promoting an environment that encourages a sense of community, personal growth, safety, positive values, and open communication. Right now our brand new PTA is applying for 501(c)(3) and we’re expecting a nonprofit status soon.
What do we do?
Wilburton PTA organizes parent volunteers and raises funding to support school programs such as enriching activities for students and social events.
We Are Providing an Environment for Our Students to Grow & Excel

Improves the quality of our school! PTA raises funds to support important academic programs, grants, and more.
You’ll get connected! Through your involvement in the PTA, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with teachers and administration and meet other parents in your community.
Be a role model! Show your kids how much you value education and community.
A Message From
At our June PTA Meeting, we nominated and voted in our PTA Leadership Team for the 2018-19 school year. Along with these four leadership members, we also have members of our PTA board including communications lead, fundraising, membership and more! There will be more information coming out about how to become a PTA member and be involved in our August newsletter. PTA will also be onsite on 8/28 at our Back to School Day.
Welcome and Thank you to these family members for stepping up and helping lead our first year at Wilburton! # WeAreFamily
