Room Parent Volunteer

What is a Room Parent:

A room parent is the “lead” volunteer of a classroom, a bridge between the teacher and other parents.

Benefits of Room Parent:

Being a room parent is an inside look at how the school operates. You’ll learn about the school, meet parents, become acquainted with school staff and socialize with a variety of adults invested in the school’s success. Volunteering can also be a great example for children, an opportunity to illustrate the benefits of giving back to a community.

Duties:

- Partner with the teacher with class volunteers and celebrations. Support classroom to celebrate teacher’s birthday.

- Liaison between PTA and classroom.
